Position Summary: Carwile Mechanical Project Manager's are responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion. This role works closely with owners, subcontractors, vendors, field personnel, and internal teams to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of commercial construction projects from award through closeout.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost projections.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Review project drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Monitor project progress and proactively address challenges to maintain schedule and budget goals.
- Process submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation.
- Conduct project meetings and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
- Assist with project forecasting, billing, and cost tracking.
- Support field teams by providing direction, resources, and problem-solving assistance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and project partners.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the construction industry required.
- Previous project management, project engineering, estimating, or field leadership experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of commercial construction processes, scheduling, and project coordination.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with project management software is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in commercial construction.
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, piping, or mechanical systems.
